Nigerian para powerlifter Roland Ezuruike and Esther Oyema has won the country's gold medal of the Commonwealth Games. Ezuruike took the top medal in the para powerlifting lightweight category on Tuesday.
He lifted 224.3kg while countryman Paul Kehinde claimed the silver medal with a 219.9kg lift.
Esther Oyema beat her own 126kg world record to win Nigeria's second para powerlifting gold medal at the Commonwealth Games after lifting 131kg. Compatriot Lucy Ejike picked up silver.
